Best Automatic Vacuum and Mop Combos
The Narwal Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot vacuums and mops I've tested. Its base station has a large dustbin and water tank, and its dual rubber brushes are less prone to hair tangles than single bristles.

Its mopping performance is strong and its AI mapping excels at avoiding obstacles. It is also able to stop the cleaning process and resume from where it was when it stopped.
1. robot vacuum cleaners uk j9+
The Roomba Combo j9+ is one of the most sophisticated 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop cleaners currently on the market. It has an elegant, self-emptying Clean Base that can accommodate up to two full mopping cycles and is even designed to look like a small table. It's also the only robot mop we've tested that comes with an onboard water reservoir that automatically cleans and refills the pads for cleaning after each mopping and vacuum cycle.
The mopping arm rests quietly on top of the unit until it is able to detect hard floors, and then it lowers to begin scrubs. It is able to move slowly and with care over surfaces to make sure it doesn't accidentally spill wet mud or spills across carpeted areas. It is capable of staying out of the way of cords, furniture, and other obstacles.
The iRobot Home App is smarter than other robot vacuums. It allows you to modify the settings of your cleaner and prioritize rooms based on the amount of dirt, schedule cleaning times, and much more. The app also offers detailed maps of your home, seasonal suggestions, custom cleaning routines, and intuitive smart-home integrations.
This robot vacuum and mop utilizes iRobot's Imprint Smart Mapping technology to identify objects, like sofas, counters, and tables. And it can be controlled by Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri to make cleaning your home hands-free.
The Roomba J9+, unlike other vacuum and mopping robotics, creates an outline of your home 7x faster than the previous models. It also labels each space in accordance with the floor type so that it will always be aware of the area you want to mop or vacuum. It also has a new Turbo Mode that increases suction power for those tough places. With iRobot's Dirt Detective, it can learn your cleaning habits and preferences, and automatically adjust your cleaning priorities and settings, such as mop scrubbing for the dirtiest parts of your home.

The M12 comes with a variety of cleaning options, including mopping and vacuuming. Its innovative design lets the M12 map a space in just six minutes and adjust its cleaning route accordingly. Its advanced mopping features include two spinning pads and electronically controlled water and a "True Edge" Adaptive Edge Mopping System that ensures thorough cleaning of all edges.
In terms of navigation in terms of navigation, the M12 utilizes LiDAR, IR, and 3D structured light to avoid obstacles. Its sensors are adept at finding larger objects, like HVAC vents, and furniture. However, they struggle with smaller objects, like cables and rags that are small, which can cause the robot to miss spots.
The M12's built in inclinometer allows it to detect and navigate stairs. It also has the ability to automatically return to its OMNI Station to wash and dry mop brushes and replenish its water tank. When the batteries are exhausted the OMNI Station is able to clean itself and empty the dustbin when the batteries are depleted.
3. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra robot cleaner is at the cutting edge of robotic cleaning. It packs a wealth of features into a compact package. It comes with the largest mopping capacity as well as a camera for increased obstacles to avoid, and a powerful vacuum with the ability to detect when it's sweeping over carpets. It also has advanced intelligence and voice assistant features.
It's a fantastic mop and vacuum, completing our 1,500-square foot test area in about 101 minutes before running out of battery and returning to its dock. Its mop washes itself in between use, which reduces the cost of maintenance and helps keep the pads clean. In addition to this the dock sensor that detects the moment that the mop's pad gets dirty and initiates the washing cycle to keep it clean.
Like its predecessors as well, like its predecessors, the S8 MaxV Ultra features an intelligent system that can detect objects of the home, such as shoes and pet waste using a camera + LIDAR combo. It was a great performer in our test of obstacle avoidance with just one minor glitch during my tests (it got stuck unwinding a ball of wool that was tangled up around its brush arm).
The S8 MaxV Ultra has a new suction capacity of 10,000pa, which is more than twice more powerful than its predecessor. This makes it a good option for homes with a lot of carpet and a variety of floor types. The vacuum can also be programmed to automatically increase suction when it's moving over crumbs or dirt.
As with previous models, there are multiple docking stations that can be installed in various rooms to in the process of cleaning and mopping. The docking station can be connected to the plumbing system and drain and refill the water tank after you're done.

The X40 Ultra is easy to set up and use, with an easy-to-use and user-friendly application and a variety of features. It is quieter than many corded vacuums. The only noises are occasional low hums from its motor, and brief moments of sucking when cleaning. Its navigation system is impressive and utilizes a camera that has 3D structured light as well as multiple lasers to locate and avoid obstacles. this helps the X40 Ultra achieve one of the highest scores for obstacle avoidance in our tests.
5. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is an amazingly powerful vacuum and mop combination that has been developed to be easy for users. The gunmetal base station fills up its own tank of clean water, then empty the dustbin into a smaller container and washes and dries its own mop pads between cleaning sessions. It also comes with a sophisticated feature set that lets it switch between hard and rugs effectively removing dirt and pet hair from carpets, and clear high thresholds in rooms.
The S1 Pro has excellent navigation and mapping, thanks to the internal dToF system. It is able to maintain the appearance of a low-profile, while offering excellent object detection. It drives close to walls without crashing and avoiding steps, and it also raises its mop automatically when driving over rugs or carpets with a short pile. However, it struggled in the presence of longer-pile carpets and large, thick messes of dried-on debris.
Like many robots like it, the S1 Pro comes ready to take off from the box and needs only the initial mapping run to figure out how it can navigate your home. Once that's done, the map is displayed in the app and rooms can be added or joined depending on the need. You can also set virtual boundaries and no-go or no-mop zones if there's something you don't want your robot to be able to touch.
The S1 Pro is a great option for homes with both types of flooring, as it can mop and vacuum. However its dependence on an Eufy-branded cleaning product (which is included in the box) makes it less flexible than other robots that allow you to create your own solutions. Its ability to mop and vacuum makes it an ideal option for homes with floors of both types, but its reliance on a Eufy brand cleaning solution (which is included in the box) could make it less flexible than other robots that allow you to make your own cleaning solutions.
